If you are looking to me for football game predictions you have come to a poor source. I am probably one of the few people who ever lost money buying Walmart stock. I also pick or bet on a team based on my heart, so I lose most of the time. The Razorbacks have broken my heart on so many occasions its a wonder my heart is still ticking.

The Presidential Primaries are in full swing. Frankly I wish everyone would turn it down a notch and quit the name calling, anger, mud-slinging. The office they all seek is President of the United States which when all said the winner is due our respect and support.

One of the great things about the Super Bowl is an opportunity to get together with friends, watch the game and commercials, and to feast on some great party food. I’m a traditionalist who loves cheese dip, wings, chili, polish sausages, and burgers. However I have to admit people can be fairly creative.
I should ask my character Liz Stewart in the highly acclaimed Ginger Snaps what she would serve. perhaps marijuana laced cookies or brownies, or her special tea made from the leaves of the marijuana plant. One thing is for sure she’s going to get somebody in trouble. She always does and then Jack Patterson has to rescue her. Let’s just hope she doesn’t serve anything to any of the ball players before the game or we will have another Super Bowl controversy.
It is hard to believe that its almost been three years since we started the Jack Patterson series with the third coming out in May, and I have started the fourth. I recently attended a book club where they had just finished the award-winning When Men Betray. It was a wonderful evening and I look forward to visiting as many book clubs, libraries, and organizations as time permits.
Well its time predictions:
1. My wife Suzy will not appreciate Lady Gaga’s version of the national anthem.
2. One Super Bowl Commercial will cause you to get weepy-eyed.
3. The halftime show’s volume will be so loud you won’t understand a word they are singing.
4. You will be tempted to mute the announcer’s and simply watch the game because of the stupid things they say.
5. The score 27-19 Panthers. Peyton will play well, but sustain too many blows from the Panthers pass rush when the Broncos get close to the goal line.
