Not In Kansas Anymore

The trip to Fayetteville was fun and a huge success. The book signing at Nightbird books was well attended and we had lots of fun talking about writing When Men Betray, politics, and the Razorbacks. The event in Bentonville with the Arkansas Association of Defense Lawyers was the best attended event they ever held and it was a lot of fun seeing old friends and meeting new ones. If you would like me to speak at your event just email me at [email protected].

A special treat was a visit Saturday Afternoon with my old coach, Frank Broyles. He is looking great and told stories I hadn’t heard. Although the prospects for Razorback Football this fall is guarded, I reminded Coach that our SWC Championship and Sugar Bowl team was picked last in the SWC Conference in 1968 as well. There is a reason they play the games. Pundits have been wrong before.

Finally, my good friend and teammate gave me tour of NW Arkansas. The changes along the I49 corridor blew me away.  No one could say NW Arkansas is part of Kansas anymore.
