Several people have suggested that I write a monthly newsletter to the fans of Jack Patterson Thrillers. I’ve looked at the websites of authors I enjoy and respect and realize that a lot of them are writing newsletters as well. So here goes:

The weather in North Carolina has been crazy. One day it’s snowing and the next it’s in the sixties and sunny. I’ve been fortunate in that the weather hasn’t prevented my from attending book signings or talking to book clubs. My wife and I will be in the New Orleans area for a long week in mid-March and will be available in that area for media events or to speak to your organization. Again contact Bianca to find out more. I am a big fan of Pat Conroy and saddened to hear about his battle with cancer. Like millions of his fans I know he will take the fight to cancer, not the other way around. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
I sent A Game of Inches to my publisher, Beaufort Books, in early January, spent the whole month of January catching up on my reading, and now I am back writing the next Jack Patterson thriller. I can’t tell you much about it yet, I’m not sure where it is heading myself, but follow this newsletter to find out more.
This newsletter gives me an excellent opportunity to keep in touch with the fans of Jack Patterson, Maggie, Clovis, Micki, Stella, and the whole rest of the crew from Arkansas.
