Reissued “Friends In High Places” Will Be Available September 28, 2015

Dear Readers:

Webb Hubbell: Friends in High Places Book Cover I had a wonderful time this week appearing on the Steve Malzberg Show on Newsmax and then appearing on the The Marilu Henner Show. Marilu was a star on two of my favorite TV shows — Taxi and Evening Shade. The latter being set in the small Arkansas town of Evening Shade. Don’t you just love that name?

The reissue of Friends In High Places by Beaufort Books is almost here — September 28, 2015. You can preorder it for your e-book or in paperback by going to your local independent bookstore, Amazon, Barnes and Noble or if you want autographed copies go to my website webbhubbell.com.

Accolades continue to pour in for When Men Betray and Ginger Snaps. I will be making two presentations next week. If you would like to have me speak to your organization, book club, church, or university simply fill out the form on my website webbhubbell.com or email me at [email protected].

I am also hard at work on the next Jack Patterson thriller. This one is set in Washington, DC. I will be writing more about it in the future.

Fall is approaching and it is my favorite time of the year. I was very disappointed that the voter turnout for Charlotte’s mayoral primaries was a pitiful 8.7%. I probably will offend a few when I say this but this type of turnout is not about Voter ID’s or attempts to restrict voting versus combatting voter fraud. It all about apathy and education. The turnout speaks mountains about the state of democracy. It wasn’t that long ago where people were killed and were beaten up simply trying to get African-Americans the right to vote in the deep south i.e.. Freedom Riders. I’d hate to think those lives weren’t lost in vain.

Ginger Snaps Book Cover Don’t forget to get your autographed copies of Ginger Snaps at your local bookstore, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or at my website, webbhubbell.com.

Have a great weekend. Webb
